LightFeather is currently seeking a skilled React Native Developer with a strong focus on Android, to join our innovative and dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building high-quality mobile applications that provide seamless user experiences across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of React Native and Android Kotlin development, along with experience in continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

This Position is Full Time, Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native with a heavier focus on Android platforms, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and high-performance.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code along with automated tests to guarantee the quality of applications.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure the smooth operation of applications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interface designs that meet specified requirements and enhance user experiences.
  • Manage the deployment process of applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including adherence to release procedures and maintenance post-launch.
  • Engage with both business and IT stakeholders to convert business needs into technical specifications and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in React Native development, with a stronger emphasis on Android applications.
  • Proficient in Typescript, and Android development using Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with GitLab actions and experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Google Play Store release management and deployment procedures.
  • Ability to write and maintain high-quality code and automated tests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code for performance issues.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with designers and other team members.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with business and IT stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Regula Document Reader SDK and IBScan Biometrics Scan SDK is highly desirable.
  • Swift - IOS development experience.
