LightFeather is currently seeking a mid-level Software Developer with experience in Oracle Applications, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), and related systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing operational performance, scalability and financial management processes, as well as contribute to the integration and improvement of key systems.

This position is on-site in Kansas City.

This position requires a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of Oracle Applications (R12.2.4) and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM 6.4.3), contributing to the optimization of operational efficiency and system scalability.
  • Support the upgrade of key functionalities, including Planning, Scheduling, Financial, and Operations systems.
  • Aid in the integration of Oracle Financials (GL, AR) and OTM, streamlining both financial and transportation management processes.
  • Contribute to the migration from Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2 to Oracle Analytics Server, ensuring smooth data transitions and enhanced reporting capabilities.
  • Help maintain Oracle Financials E-Business Suite for managing bi-annual budget cycles and support the reconciliation of annual and cost accounting data.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of Oracle Financials E-Business Suite, ensuring cost accounting cycles run smoothly and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Support the establishment of budgeting processes for non-appropriated funds, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Work with Application Express (Apex) to assist in developing custom solutions, such as scheduling interfaces, and facilitate their integration with OTM and Oracle AR.
  • Participate in RICE development to address new business needs, ensuring successful integration with internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with business process leaders and technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with the federal government client’s needs.
  • Provide ongoing support for the planning system, ensuring it operates effectively and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Assist in enhancing the logistics system, including the upgrade to Apex 22.1.1.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with full BI clearance or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle Applications (R12.2.4) and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM 6.4.3) in a federal or large-scale organizational setting.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Financials systems, including GL and AR modules.
  • Familiarity with migrating from Oracle Business Intelligence to Oracle Analytics Server, with a focus on reporting enhancements.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials E-Business Suite, budgeting processes, and cost accounting cycles.
  • Proficiency in Application Express (Apex) for custom development.
  • Experience working with RICE components and system integration.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with an ability to work closely with technical and business process teams.
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with databases and mobile application development.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations.
