We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeling SME with expertise in Databricks, Tableau, GA4, Looker Reporting Tool, and PowerBI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and documenting data models that support predictive models and AI solutions, utilizing advanced tools like Erwin for .DDL file deliveries. This role also involves spearheading data migration strategies, establishing data governance frameworks, and innovating reporting system designs to drive enterprise decision-making.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current security clearance.
Location: Primarily remote. Must be based in or near the D.C. Metro area, or able to commute/travel to the office at least once a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the analysis and strategy for migrating data warehouse systems to Oracle Cloud, establishing a robust Master Data Management (MDM) framework for enhanced data exchange and governance.
  • Innovate reporting system designs from data warehouse outputs to actionable insights, supporting critical decision-making processes across the enterprise.
  • Advocate for and implement data quality governance and standardization across enterprise systems, significantly enhancing data integrity and reliability.
  • Advise and support the development of core analytics data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop, document, and maintain data models that support predictive models and AI solutions.
  • Utilize tools like Erwin or similar to deliver .DDL files and design logical and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement analytical models and data platform architectures.
  • Deliver logical and physical architecture design solutions for analytics data, predictive models, and integrations.
  • Develop and execute architecture strategies for migrating to AWS data lakes and Data Warehouses, setting new benchmarks in data management and utilization.
  • Lead the design and modeling of data repositories in ServiceNow for enterprise reporting and analytics, enhancing data accessibility and insight generation.
  • Develop analytics solutions using Python, leveraging best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Create and manage advanced analytics reporting and dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Work with various database technologies to support and optimize data models.
  • Deploy and manage predictive models and AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ensure data model integrity, performance, and scalability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Modeling SME or similar role with a focus on Databricks, Tableau, GA4, Looker, and PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in Python for developing and implementing analytics solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database technologies.
  • Advanced skills in PowerBI for developing analytics reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying and managing AI solutions.
  • Expertise in data modeling tools like Erwin or similar for designing, building, and documenting data models.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading data migration projects, implementing data governance, and enhancing data quality across enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing AI-driven analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or data modeling tools like Erwin.
